Day 01 Arrive Kochi (Cochin)

Our executive will receive you at the Kochi airport and escort you to the hotel for hassle free check in & discuss about the sightseeing & other travel information. Kochi formerly Cochin is fastest growing city in South Indian state. It is financial capital of Kerala. Kochi more famous as the Queen of Arabian Sea. Due to finest natural harbour it’s always draw the attention of European, Arabian & Chinese trader who came here for spices trade and stayed for hundreds of years. Overnight stay.

Day 02 Kochi -Sightseeing

Here we visit the Dutch Palace, the Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, and rive past Dutch and Portuguese buildings. While driving along the coastline, at the mouth of the harbour we see Chinese fishing nets, unique to Cochin and still very much in use. Evening - Enjoy Kathakali dance performance. India's most spectacular Dance Drama based on stories from Ramayana and Mahabharata. Overnight stay

Day 03 Kochi-Kumarakom ( 02 Hrs drive)

Today morning leave Kochi for Backwater village Kumarakom. Kumarakom is tiny village on the banks of Vembanad Lake. The Vembanad backwaters with its majestic canals, streams and distributaries along its banks wave an intricate and enchantingly beautiful web. The gorgeous green of the fringed palms ripple in the blue waters and blend into wavelets. Kumarakom lies in a timeless world of gentle, unhurried activity. Here you can go for Ayurveda or spa treatment at resort. Overnight stay

Day 4 Kumarakom –Alleppey

Today late morning you will embark upon your personal houseboat for an overnight journey across the backwaters. The houseboat cruise takes you through the intricate maze of backwaters, mesmerizing and surprising you at every turn with its serene beauty & simple charm. Enjoy the countryside of Kerala at its best. Soak your eyes & soul with array of coconut trees & endless paddy fields. You will also get chance to take a small stroll through the villages & interact with the locals. Overnight on board

Day 5 Alleppey-Periyar ( 04 Hrs drive)

After breakfast disembark the houseboat and leave for Periyar Periyar is situated on higher elevation of Western Ghats, is the largest National Park and Tiger Reserve but hardly you can sight tiger. The picturesque Periyar Lake at the heart of sanctuary is one of the major attraction of Periyar. Here you can see herds of elephants with in the Park and other species you can see gaur, sambar or spotted deer. Rest of the day at leisure Overnight stay

Day 6 Periyar

Morning you will be taken for Nature Walk with naturalist in the forest area. Learn more about the local flora & fauna as you walk through the dense forest trails. The rich forests of Periyar are home to many species of plants and you will be amused by the rich bio-diversity of this region. Evening visit to a Spice Plantation to watch different varieties of spices such as cardamom, cinnamon, peeper, clove, vanilla, ginger, tea and coffee growing in their natural environment. Day 7 Periyar-Madurai ( 03 Hrs drive)

Herds of ElephantDay 07 Periyar-Madurai ( 03 Hrs drive)
Today we head out to temple city Mdurai. Madurai is known as the Temple City, Madurai was the capital of the ancient Pandya kingdom. It was during the long reign of the Nayaks (10th-18th century) that the magnificent Meenakshi Temple was constructed. Our half-day sightseeing tour takes us to the Meenakshi Temple, whose towering gopurams rise above the surrounding countryside. The temple is dedicated to the consort of Lord Shiva. Later, we visit the Tirumala Nayak Palace, a gracious building in the Indo-Saracenic style, decorated with stucco work domes and arches. In Evening you can participate in Aarti ceremony in Meenakshi Temple. Overnight stay

Day 8 Madurai-Kovalam ( 06 Hrs drive)

Today morning leave for long drive for Kovalam beach. Kovalam offers some of India’s best beach stretches. Azure water and favourable climate make Kovalam a favourite year-round spot for swimming. Sea here is pacific and shallow where you can take a dip in the saline waters. The clean white sandy beach will arouse a temptation irresistible to lie idle on the sands and tan your body. You could get into any of the Ayurvedic massage centre and indulge in a rejuvenating herbal, body-toning massage and holistic therapies. Overnight stay

Day 9-10 Kovalam

All days at leisure to enjoy the facilities of hotel and relax on the beach. You can take experience of Ayurveda or spa treatment at resort.

Day 11 Leave Kovalam-Trivandrum ( ½ Hrs drive)

Today in time transfer to Trivandrum airport to board the return flight to home.
