Desert Festival

Gangaur Festival

Marwar Festival

Jodhpur’s art and culture can be best depicted through Rajasthan’s Marwar festival that is celebrated in the month of October. It was earlier known as Maand Festival and falls during the full moon of sharad purnima, celebrated for two days.

 

Kajli Teej Festival

Culture and tradition of Rajasthan can be best captured during the Kajli Teej festival. Here the celebration starts with prayers to Kajli Teej in Bundi, who was the queen of Hadoti. This Teej festival is entirely different from other Teej festivals celebrated in other states. It’s a week-long festival that is celebrated with vivacity and fanfare, and Goddess Uma is being offered prayers by devotees.

 

 

Mewar Festival

Mesmerizing and enchanting beauty of Udaipur can be experienced through its numerous festivals that are widely celebrated across the city. This festival falls during the month of March and April. It is celebrated to welcome spring season, with a visual feast of song and dance performances.
